Federal Construction Project Manager

Location: Various Federal Project Sites Nationwide (Initial locations: Maine, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Virginia)
Contract Type: Federal Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract
Expected Start Date: April 2025 (Pending Task Order Release)
Compensation: Commensurate with experience (includes competitive salary, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, and paid time off)

Overview

Lisscombe Solutions is seeking an experienced Federal Construction Project Manager to oversee large-scale government construction projects. This role requires expertise in project planning, contract compliance, and coordination with federal agencies to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage federal construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with government regulations and contract requirements.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and work plans, aligning with federal procurement guidelines.
  • Coordinate with government agencies, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Oversee risk management, quality control, and safety compliance per federal standards.
  • Manage project documentation, reporting, and communication with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and other federal contracting guidelines.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance, resolve issues, and maintain project timelines and deliverables.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (PMP certification preferred).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience managing federal construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and federal procurement policies.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project teams effectively.
  • Experience working with government agencies such as GSA, DoD, or USACE.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel as required for project oversight.
